WOOD & STONE

Natural materials brought together through contrast, balance, and restraint.

Not symbolic. Not decorative.
Simply material, in dialogue.

What Is Wood & Stone?

Wood & Stone pieces are composed of natural materials chosen for their physical character rather than symbolism.
Each material brings its own texture, weight, and presence.

The combination is not meant to create meaning, but to allow contrast — warmth and coolness, grain and density — to coexist in a single object.

The Materials

Natural Wood

Wood Materials

The wood materials selected for this collection are chosen for their density, grain structure, and long-term stability.
Each type of wood is presented as a material object — shaped minimally to preserve its natural character.

  • Ya Bai Wood — high oil content, dense structure, flowing natural grain
  • Bodhi Seed — lightweight, matte surface, organic variation in tone and texture

These woods are finished with restraint,
allowing time, touch, and natural patina to gradually define their surface.

Pure Stone

Stone Materials

A selection of stones chosen for their material character rather than symbolism.
Each stone is presented as a natural object — defined by structure, density, and surface quality.

  • Hetian Jade — fine grain, restrained translucence, quiet surface depth
  • Malachite — layered green banding, organic movement within the stone
  • Agate — mineral stratification, natural variation in tone and pattern

These stones are shaped and finished with minimal intervention,
allowing the material itself to remain the primary expression.

Material Relationships

When wood and stone are brought together, neither should dominate.
The goal is balance — in weight, color, and presence.

Wood offers warmth and tactility.
Stone introduces structure and visual stillness.

Each pairing is designed to remain wearable, understated, and grounded in material logic rather than ornament.

Selected Pieces

Wearing & Use

Wood & Stone pieces are worn as personal objects or kept as part of a private collection.
They are chosen for texture, balance, and quiet presence in daily life.

Many appreciate these materials for their natural variation rather than perfection.

On Material Restraint

We do not pursue excess meaning in natural materials.
Their value lies in structure, origin, and how they age over time.

By limiting selection and composition, we allow materials to speak through form, texture, and balance — not narrative.

Wood & Stone exists alongside our Agarwood and Sandalwood collections, offering a quieter, grounded counterpoint within the same material philosophy.
