SOME WORDS ABOUT US

ABOUT OUR TEAM

We are a team brought together by shared respect for Eastern philosophy, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.

Each member contributes from a different background, allowing tradition and modern perspective to coexist.

Our Founder

Zen Xin is a practitioner of Buddhist cultivation and Chinese traditional folk wisdom.
For many years, I have been studying how ancient Eastern philosophies can be applied in a grounded and practical way to modern life — helping people find clarity, stability, and inner balance amid uncertainty.

From a young age, I experienced recurring dreams and inner perceptions that gradually shaped my path of self-reflection and cultivation. Over time, this journey naturally led me toward a vegetarian lifestyle, deeper study of Buddhist teachings, and a heightened sensitivity to the emotional and environmental patterns that influence human life.

Rather than viewing these experiences as something mystical or extraordinary, I understand them as part of a long-standing cultural tradition — one that emphasizes awareness, compassion, and personal responsibility.

What I Offer

My work focuses on providing guidance rooted in Buddhist principles and traditional Chinese folk practices, including:

  • Ancestral and memorial s
  • Life guidance and personal consultations
  • perspectives for living spaces
  • Cultural interpretations of destiny, relationships, career, and study paths
  • -based cultural items inspired by traditional beliefs

These practices are not meant to replace medical, legal, or psychological care. Instead, they serve as cultural and support, helping individuals reflect, adjust their mindset, and move forward with greater calm and clarity.

My Philosophy

I do not promote superstition or fear-based beliefs.
I believe true cultivation lies in:

  • Understanding cause and effect
  • Respecting destiny while making conscious choices
  • Accumulating goodwill through action and intention
  • Cherishing connections between people and circumstances

Ancient wisdom is not distant or unreachable. When approached with sincerity and discernment, it becomes a quiet but steady source of strength in daily life.

Who I Serve

I work with individuals and families from different cultural backgrounds, particularly those seeking:

  • Emotional grounding during life transitions
  • Harmony within family and living environments
  • Cultural understanding of traditional Eastern beliefs
  • support during times of confusion or loss
A Gentle Invitation

If you feel drawn to explore these traditions in a respectful and grounded way, you are welcome to reach out for a private consultation.
My role is not to predict or control life, but to walk alongside you as a guide, offering perspective, reflection, and support.

CEO Zen Xin

COO Jingzhen Liu

Jingzhen Liu is a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the Zen Tao brand. She previously worked as a Human Resources Manager at a Fortune 500 company in China, where she gained extensive experience in organizational management, cross-functional coordination, and long-term strategic planning.

During a period of personal reflection, Jingzhen began studying classical Taoist philosophy and texts. Through this process, she developed a deep appreciation for Taoism’s emphasis on balance, natural order, and inner freedom. These principles gradually became an important source of inspiration in her life and work.

Over the years, Jingzhen has built long-term relationships with traditional Taoist cultural practitioners and craftsmen. She has focused on understanding how Taoist metaphysical concepts are traditionally expressed through symbolic objects, calligraphy, and craftsmanship — not as superstition, but as part of China’s long-standing cultural heritage.

Motivated by a desire to preserve and responsibly share these traditions, Jingzhen co-founded Zen Tao together with Zen Xin. The brand aims to present Taoist-inspired cultural ornaments and symbolic items in a respectful, contemporary, and accessible way for a global audience.

At Zen Tao, Jingzhen oversees operations, cultural integrity, and collaboration with traditional artisans, ensuring that each product reflects both authenticity and thoughtful craftsmanship.

Ni Xu is the Chief Design Officer of Zen Tao and a professional designer with a background in fashion and traditional Chinese craftsmanship. She is an inheritor of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Handicrafts and has long been engaged in the creation of traditional handmade works.

Growing up in a family deeply connected to folk culture and traditional practices, Ni Xu developed an early respect for symbolism, craftsmanship, and the cultural meaning embedded in everyday objects. This background naturally led her to explore how traditional aesthetics and philosophy can be expressed through modern design.

At Zen Tao, Ni Xu integrates elements of Taoist philosophy, Zen Buddhism, and classical symbolism into contemporary product design. She believes that handcrafted objects are not merely decorative, but vessels of intention, care, and cultural memory.

Her design philosophy emphasizes balance, simplicity, and emotional resonance. Each piece is created with the hope of bringing a sense of calm, warmth, and inner joy to the people who use it.
