ZEN TAO is a quiet space devoted to the Eastern art of self-cultivation.
We offer handcrafted objects for daily presence — bracelets, cord pieces, beads, and small pieces made from stone, wood, and natural materials. Each carries a sense of restraint and balance, made to be lived with, not just displayed.
Alongside them, taoist objects, personal birth map readings and Taoist Qigong practices — ancient arts for seeing yourself more clearly, and cultivating from within. Offered in person by J.Li, our founder.
Everything we do moves in one direction: toward a more present, more attentive way of living. Not more. Just closer.

J.Li has spent many years studying how ancient Eastern philosophies can be applied in grounded, practical ways to modern life.
His approach emphasizes clarity, self-awareness, and personal responsibility — understanding Eastern wisdom not as mysticism, but as a long-standing cultural tradition rooted in observation and lived experience.
At ZEN TAO, J.Li provides the philosophical foundation of the brand, ensuring that each creation reflects calmness, balance, and quiet intention.

Jingzhen Liu
Operations & Cultural Integrity
With a professional background in organizational management and long-term strategy, Jingzhen Liu brings structure and discipline to ZEN TAO’s operations.
As a Taoist, her deep study of classical Taoist philosophy led her to appreciate its emphasis on natural order, balance, and inner freedom. Over the years, she has built close relationships with traditional artisans and cultural practitioners.
Jingzhen oversees brand operations, artisan collaboration, and cultural integrity — ensuring that tradition is approached with respect, clarity, and responsibility.

Ni Xu
Design & Handcrafted Creation
Ni Xu is a professional designer and inheritor of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage craftsmanship, with long-standing experience in traditional handmade work.
Her design philosophy centers on simplicity, proportion, and emotional resonance. She believes handcrafted objects are not decorative symbols, but vessels of intention and care.
At ZEN TAO, Ni Xu translates traditional aesthetics into contemporary forms, creating objects meant to bring calm, warmth, and quiet joy into everyday life.
Why We Create
A practice carried in the hands.
Our founders, J.Li and Jingzhen Liu, came to these materials through their own Taoist practice. Over years of cultivation, they felt the quiet depth of Taoist culture — and wished to share it.
For them, beads and objects are not decorative. They are held, moved, and returned to — a simple rhythm that steadies the mind and gathers scattered attention.
Each material carries its own character and its own way of supporting practice. Agarwood: deep, inward scent that settles the heart-mind. Sandalwood: warm, grounding presence that steadies attention. Botanical beads: living grain that deepens with touch, returning you to the present. Stone: structure and stillness that anchor awareness.
Through these pieces — from natural materials to Taoist symbols — we hope to pass on what we have received, so more people may come to know Taoist culture and find their own quiet steadiness, or simply to enjoy the texture and scent of natural materials themselves.
